Thomas R. Wright L. C. S. W. began Wright Education Services in 1988 leading a domestic violence group in the jury assembly building and visiting inmates in the jail.  Wright Education Services now provides counseling to approximately 600 individuals per week with sites in Redding, Anderson, Susanville and Shasta Lake City.  Programs currently offered include: domestic violence treatment, child abuse treatment, driving under the influence educational classes, parenting classes, adolescent anger management, alcohol awareness classes, and individual family counseling.  Wright Education Services has provided counseling services in Shasta County for the past 15 years.  It is our purpose to educate individuals regardless of race, socioeconomic status, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, or disabilities.  These services are meant to inform individuals about the harm that can result from violence, addiction and other self-destructive behaviors.
